Post 107 – Why Has Cyberpunk 2077 been delayed again?

Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed Again? Why Has Cyberpunk 2077 been delayed again?

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated video game products… ever, but the products themselves are bad.

I am so excited to play Cyberpunk 2077 but every time i want to write about Cyberpunk 2077, the poorly designed products with high percentage of lost sales, takes all hype/anticipation/excitement out of me.

Witcher 3 has about 9 million unsold (lost sales) products, sitting in warehouses around the world.

9 million people who wanted to buy and play the Witcher 3, CD Projekt RED told those 9 million interested buyers to fuck off.

Cyberpunk 2077’s products will have about 7 million unsold (lost sales) product:

Xbox One version of Cyberpunk 2077 – 40% lost sales.

PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 – i reckon up to 75% lost sales.

Those who choose to buy online, the retail product goes unsold.

PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 won’t have any lost sales.

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X – to clear unsold Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One retail stock.

Microsoft launching 5 million Xbox Series X consoles & CD Projekt RED launching 5 million Xbox One products.

Xbox Series X needs to sell-through 3 million unsold Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One stock.

(how fast will this happen? Is the question the gaming industry is waiting to be answered)

To understand Lost Sales / Unsold Retail Stock…

Sony’s PS4 console & games, 100% of a town/city can buy/use/play. = no lost sales.

Microsoft’s Xbox One console, needs an initial system update patch to be downloaded through the internet, before any Xbox One video game can play. = you needs some form of internet access to buy/use/play initially.

In 2013 when Microsoft launched their Xbox One console, 60% of the average town/city had zero form of internet connectivity.

2020, 40% of the world average town/city, still has zero form of internet access.

Hence Cyberpunk 2077 will have 40% lost sales, out of the gate.

Then concerning those who do have access to the internet, what type of internet to download 50GB of data for Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code retail product?

Cyberpunk 2077 PC 50GB Download Code & Day 1 download Patch:

40% – lost sales (unsold units)

46% – expensive mobile internet access data – 3x the retail price of the Cyberpunk 2077 PC retail product just to download it.

-3G – weeks/months to download Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code product.

-4G – overnight download

-5G – commercial business districts.

14% – DSL & Fibre to the home

-7% DSL, weeks/months to download Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code retail product.

-7% Fibre to the home who can make use of the Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code retail product.

Hence Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code with up to 75% lost sales (unsold stock).

My point is, Cyberpunk 2077 is a video game product, why not let everyone in the town/city, buy/use/play the video game.

Why is CD Projekt RED releasing product that only 15% of the world average town/city, can use properly?

Apartheid South Africa built the country by placing all the natives into 1/8 of the circle/town/city. That is 54 million people living within 1/8 of the space and about 4 million playing in the rest of the town/city.

Sony’s Playstation 4 & Sony’s Playstation 5 consoles, anyone, in any given town/city, in the world, can buy/use/play.

Xbox 360 – 85 million units sold

Xbox One initial day 1 download patch – idk maybe 55 million sold.

PS3 – 85 million units sold.

PS4 – 120 million units sold.

Witcher 3 PC launched with internet requirements in 2015 needing to download 56MB of data to complete the installation. Over 50% lost sales (unsold stock).

Witcher 3 PC Game of the Year Edition, no internet access required to install & play. No lost sales. 1 million units into retail per year and it sold through.

Witcher 3 PC launch edition, still sitting with millions of unsold stock clogging up warehouses around the world.

And CD Projekt RED goes and makes it worse, Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code retail product, 50GB download + Day 1 Patch = up to 75% lost sales (unsold stock).

Why has Cyberpunk 2077 been delayed, again?

Cyberpunk 2077 was 1st delayed to launch alongside Microsoft’s Xbox Series X console.

Every Xbox One published video game has up to 60% lost sales (unsold stock). Microsoft needs the Xbox Series X to clear all those unsold Xbox One video game stock out of retail.

Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One version, will have about 3 million unsold stock. That’s 100’s of millions of dollars of stock just sitting in warehouses around the world.

From a consumer protection stand-point, Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 version with no lost sales, will have millions of non internet users buying/using/playing. Therefore the Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 version has to work/play from beginning to end without any bugs preventing the completion of the product.

Where CD Projekt RED can release broken Xbox One & PC products and promise fixes over download patches. Millions of non internet users can’t buy/use/play Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One/PC retail products. Hence the high lost sales (unsold stock).

Cyberpunk 2077 went gold a month before world-wide release? Shipping world-wide in a month? Lol, nope.

And then CD Projekt RED went into crunch mode after going gold. That means there are some serious problems were detected with the Xbox One or PC version. The PS4 version can’t go gold/print/ship in a broken form preventing non-internet PS4 users from completing/using the product as intended.

If Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 version needs a Day 1 patch to fix a broken PS4 retail version & millions can’t complete/use product as intended. CD Projekt RED may has a consumer protection law-suit on their hands.

AMD is also leaning heavily towards gamers with their new RDNA 2 graphic gaming chips.

But i think Cyberpunk 2077 retail products has already shipped world-wide. Often takes 3 months. CD Projekt RED has shipped 15 million Cyberpunk 2077 launch products:

-5 million PS4 units

-5 million XB1 units

-5 million PC units.

7 million unsold Cyberpunk 2077 units.

CD Projekt RED hoping the Xbox Series X will sell-through the 3 million unsold Xbox One Cyberpunk 2077 stock.

Leaving 4 million unsold Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code stock.

Now if you have one of the most anticipated video game products and 4 million out of 5 million units goes unsold. Who is going to buy Nvidia and AMD gaming graphic cards?

If Nvidia & AMD wants to sell more gaming graphic chips, they need to get these video game publishers to release proper video game products into retail.

Witcher 3 GOTY edition = no internet access required to install/play and no lost sales. 5 million units over 5 years, selling through.

Witcher 3 Launch edition = internet access for 56MB download = 3 million unsold units (lost sales).

When Valve Steam started in 2003, 90% of the world average town/city, couldn’t online-activate retail PC video game products. 90% lost sales (unsold stock). It was bad.

My point still stands. It’s a video game product. Why not give anyone within the world average town/city, the ability to buy/use/play, video game products. About 15% of the world average town can buy/use/play Cyberpunk 2077 PC Download Code retail product properly.

100% vs 15%? Cyberpunk 2077 PC

100% vs 60%? Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One

100% vs 100%? Cyberpunk 2077 PS4.

Lost sales (unsold stock), means it’s people who wants to buy/use/play but can’t make use of the products.

CD Projekt RED is telling 7 million people who wants to buy/use/play Cyberpunk 2077, to fuck off. The same way Microsoft told 50 million Xbox 360 users to fuck off.

Is CD Projekt RED and Microsoft, not in a marketing deal together.

CD Projekt RED took money from the Polish government and there are Polish people who wants to buy/use/play Cyberpunk 2077 that CD Projekt RED is telling to fuck off.

The Republic of Poland. A republic means a government of the people for ALL of the people. And yet CD Projekt RED, a Polish company, who took money from the Polish government, will have Polish people who wants to buy/use/play Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt RED is telling those Polish people to fuck off.

That is the state of CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 products.

CD Projekt RED’s employees crunching/overtime for 10% of the revenue Cyberpunk 2077 brings in. Are those CD Projekt RED’s developers not entitled to those unsold stock, especially those 4 million unsold PC Download Code retail stock. That one there is clearly on CD Projekt RED.

Microsoft is to blame for the unsold Xbox One Cyberpunk 2077 retail stock. That unsold stock will sell-through on the Xbox Series X.

My point… It’s a video game. Why design your video game retail products with lost sales (unsold stock) intentions for investors portfolio growth, as people slowly get access to internet infrastructure in their town/city in the world.

Witcher 2 launched with DRM in 2011 with 70% lost sales.

Witcher 3 has 9 million unsold stock.

Cyberpunk 2077 4-7 million unsold stock.

CD Projekt RED keeps telling people who wants to buy/use/play their products, to fuck off.

After Cyberpunk 2077, I am no longer interest in any more of CD Projekt RED’s projects.

CD Projekt RED – let the people who want to buy/use/play your video game products, be able to buy/use/play your video game products.
